Pastor Gabriel Chavers I, (affectionately known as PG1) serves as the full-time Pastor of Deliverance Christian Church.  Called to the ministry at 15 and answering that call in 2006, he has led Deliverance since 2012 with a focus on preaching the JESUS, building the community, and advancing the Kingdom of God. 

 

Under his leadership, the church has launched the Kingdom Center, outreach ministries, and programs like the Kingdom Eats and the food pantry.

 

Pastor Chavers proudly served in the US Air Force and attended Malone University.  He serves together with his wife Monique and they have six children-Gabriana, Brielle,Gabriel II, Ezekiel, Nehemiah & Zechariah-who are central to his life and ministry.

 

He is also the author of the Lead Like Jesus and the refounder of Deliverance’s Bible Institute and Foundations of Faith course work.
